Morgan Booth

Toronto, Ontario
Morgan Booth is an artist and arts administrator based in Toronto, Canada. Her oil paintings use female figures to explore concepts of identity within the internal dialogue. Delving into the subtle moments between release and tension as vulnerabilities and strengths are examined, Morgan's paintings seek to capture the moment of epiphany in the recognition of self. The calm and contemplative expressions of her figures are directly contrasted by the surreality of colour choices that describe the bizarreness and intensity of one's internal reality.
An accomplished live painter, Morgan has exhibited and performed at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Varley Art Gallery, and in National Competitions for Art Battle Canada. Selected exhibitions include Nuvango Gallery in Toronto and La Bodega Gallery in San Diego.
